Phosphorus is a key resource for agricultural production, but its availability in Europe is becoming increasingly limited. At the same time, inefficient use generates significant environmental impacts. In response to this challenge, ENDORSE was created as a project committed to a more sustainable and intelligent management of phosphorus.
Through a Circular Economy approach, ENDORSE focuses on recovering phosphorus salts from wastewater and transforming them into sustainable fertilizers. The goal is to close the loop of this essential resource while reducing dependence on non-renewable sources.
By fostering collaboration between urban and rural actors and supporting SMEs, ENDORSE contributes to a more resilient, innovative and environmentally aligned agricultural sector.
